FLockworks Mural Projects

Rooted in a history of community-centered art, Flockworks continues to expand its creative work through independent mural projects. This collection showcases mural work created in our community, reflecting an evolving exploration of how art can shape space, invite connection, and represent the communities around it. Each mural adds to a growing story of creativity and place.

Noyo Food Forest Learning Garden
Mural by ReBecca Wallace

The Community Garden Mural at the Noyo Food Forest was completed in
two phases in 2025. Phase 1 took place during the Spring semester,
and Phase 2 was completed in the Fall semester.
THIS INSPIRING PROJECT WAS LED BY FLOCKWORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE KUDOS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM AND THE FORT BRAGG UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. UNDER THE CREATIVE GUIDANCE OF LOCAL MURALIST REBECCA WALLACE AND THE LEADERSHIP OF KAZ COSTA, FLOCKWORKS’ DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE PROGRAMS AT THE TIME, STUDENTS FROM DANA GRAY ELEMENTARY CONTRIBUTED THEIR CREATIVITY AND VOICES TO BRING THIS VIBRANT PUBLIC ARTWORK TO LIFE.

THE MURAL CELEBRATES NATIVE PLANTS, POLLINATORS, AND OUR SHARED CONNECTION TO THE LAND—STANDING AS A POWERFUL REFLECTION OF YOUTH EXPRESSION, COLLABORATION, AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT.
