Jeff Totsch

​As the new Executive Director of Flockworks, Jeff is excited to contribute to the mission of fostering creativity and collaboration within the community. His family recently relocated to Fort Bragg, drawn by its stunning natural beauty, welcoming atmosphere, and the opportunity to spend more time together.

With 19 years of experience as an Industrial Technology teacher, Jeff has dedicated his career to hands-on education in subjects like architecture and engineering. Additionally, he has held leadership roles in various community boards and the teachers' union.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys exploring local parks and beaches with his family. What he enjoys most about working at Flockworks is the chance to make a positive impact on the community.

​A fun fact about him is that he has a passion for cooking, which allowed him to win third place at the Fiesta Latina Salsa competition!

Morgan Brewer

Morgan serves as the Administrative Director at Flockworks, where he focuses on protecting and providing for team members. He manages the routine administrative tasks that keep the organization operational.

With a diverse professional background in solar energy, software, regenerative agriculture, and sheep ranching, Morgan brings a wealth of experience to his role.

In his personal life, Morgan enjoys biking, gardening, and spending time in or on the ocean. He also loves playing Magic: The Gathering and cherishes moments with his one-year-old and family on the farm.

What Morgan enjoys most about working at Flockworks is empowering creative individuals to provide engaging enrichment activities and helping to create good jobs for local families.

A fun fact about Morgan is that he raced downhill mountain bikes for about ten years.

Tanya is a Fort Bragg local with a strong passion for education and social services. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Westmont College and began her career as a Prevention Education Advocate with Project Sanctuary. This role sparked her commitment to supporting families and children and deepened her love for education.

Tanya further honed her skills as an Early Learning Family Advocate with AmeriCorps, continuing her work with Project Sanctuary with the opportunity to also working with various organizations, including Safe Passage Family Resource Center. She later transitioned to roles with FIRST 5 Mendocino and the Mendocino Coast Children's Fund. During her time working in this community, Tanya became a Primary Care Practitioner through the Triple P program and a California Certified Crisis Counselor, further strengthening her ability to support families with care and compassion.

Her journey took an international turn when she moved to Morocco to volunteer, helping at an orphanage and teaching English at a preschool. She then continued her adventure in Spain, serving as an English language educator in elementary schools and later helped develop and coordinate an after-school English language program for children. During her time abroad, she also earned her master’s degree from the University of Granada in Peace Culture, Conflict, Education, and Human Rights.

A passionate advocate for children and families, Tanya is also deeply committed to social justice and environmental protection. She enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, and traveling. After her international experiences, she returned to Fort Bragg to be close to her family, which she values above all else.

Jen brings a strong background in office management, executive support, and organizational coordination to her role as Administrative Assistant at Flockworks. With years of experience as both an elementary school Administrative Secretary and small business owner, Jen is passionate about supporting students, families, and the broader community here in Fort Bragg
.
In addition to her administrative work, Jen is also co-managing the Cobalt Art Gallery, where she coordinates exhibits and events that celebrate local creativity and foster community connection through the arts.

Originally from Montana, Jen spent the last 27 years surrounded by mountains and open skies. But it was the ocean, rivers, hiking trails, and temperate climate of Northern California that ultimately drew her west. After falling in love with Fort Bragg’s vibrant sense of community—especially its deep connection to the arts—she made the move permanent in October 2024.

Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from St. Joseph’s University and actively pursues professional growth through ongoing development and training. She deeply values the power of art to foster creativity, connection, and self-expression, and is grateful to be part of a team that celebrates art’s essential role in community life.

In her free time, Jen enjoys hiking with her dog, kayaking, and spending time with her grown son—who, much to her delight, also recently relocated to California.

An artist and academic, Kaz supports our creative projects for expanded learning programs. 

As a California native and award winning photographer, they enjoy wandering the North Coast documenting the shifting landscapes.

​Kaz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and a Master's of Science in Education.

Norma Trejo

Norma runs the Art @ Schools Program at Dana Gray, where she collaborates with exceptional teachers to develop an arts-integrated curriculum. With over ten years of experience working with non-profit organizations, she has spent the last six years at Flockworks, where she feels grateful to be part of such a supportive community. 
​
As an experimental artist, she enjoys exploring various mediums and art forms. 
Norma was born in Mexico and came to Fort Bragg, California as a child.  Her love of the arts helped her cope with the challenges of language, culture and the immigration experience. As a single mother with strong community roots, she brings contemporary view to our focus on children. ​

Jennifer Raye

ASSETs Director
​Fort Bragg High School

Jennifer’s journey as the Site Coordinator for the ASSETs After School program at Fort Bragg High School began in the 2008-09 school year—its inaugural year. This marks her 17th year running this federally-funded program.
​

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in painting from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jennifer later pursued graduate studies in the M.F.A. printmaking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, although she was unable to complete her master’s degree due to the sudden passing of her husband while in graduate school.

Working with teens is incredibly dynamic, and the after-school program at Fort Bragg High School is designed to adapt to the ever-changing interests and needs of students. With Flockworks employing all after-school staff, she finds herself— for the first time in her adult life—working for an arts organization as an artist.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, making art, and recently, sewing. She is currently on an adventure designing patterns for fabric and custom clothing. Originally from the Detroit area, she cherishes her creative journey here.

Amber Ramirez

Amber is a proud Mexican-American, multi-disciplinary artist, educator, and entrepreneur. Raised in Fort Bragg, she later moved to the Bay Area to pursue her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of San Francisco, where she explored a range of mediums including printmaking, painting, illustration, and sculpture.

Throughout her education, Amber interned with local nonprofits like Precita Eyes and First Graduate, experiences that deepened both her artistic and administrative skills and led to collaborative mural work in San Francisco.

Amber is the founder of Dream Drifter Designs, a small business through which she sells original artwork, printed apparel, and handmade goods, both online and in local shops across Northern California. She has also taught art to students ages 4–18 both in person and virtually, and brings with her several years of experience in arts education, child care, and program support.

Her mission is rooted in using her creative skills to foster joy, healing, and self-expression, especially among youth. She believes in the power of art to create meaningful change and strives to bring that spirit to every community she serves
.
After several years away, Amber is excited to return to her hometown this summer to reconnect with the coast and give back to the community that raised her. ​

Victoria Anaya-Franco

Kudos Director

Victoria Anaya-Franco serves as the Kudos Director, overseeing the Kudos program and providing support to each site. She plays a key role in offering relevant professional development to staff, fostering community connections, and creating outreach opportunities.

Additionally, Victoria acts as a liaison between the California Department of Education (CDE), Mendocino County Office of Education (MCOE), Fort Bragg Unified School District (FBUSD), and Flockworks, ensuring that the program remains compliant with grant requirements.


Victoria has a strong background in management, having worked as a Business Manager where she handled payroll, accounts payable, onboarding, supervision, and human resources. In the hospitality industry, she has served as a shift manager, assistant store manager, and front-of-house restaurant manager.

Victoria's experience with MCRPD includes various roles, such as working in the Just for Kids program and reception, as well as the Kudos program. She began her journey in Kudos as an aide at age 17 and has advanced through the ranks to instructor, site lead, site coordinator, and now director.


Victoria has a deep appreciation for music in all its forms and enjoys engaging in arts and crafts. She is an avid reader, with Jodi Picoult and Janet Evanovich being her favorite authors.

What Victoria enjoys most about her work with Kudos and Flockworks is the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of children in the community. She finds fulfillment in providing valuable services to families and cherishes the smiles of children in the program.

Victoria is part of a family legacy in expanded learning. Her adopted mother is the Expanded Learning Specialist for MCOE, and her daughter currently works as an aide for Kudos. Her son also hopes to join the team once he is old enough.​

Kate Taylor

Redwood Elementary

Kate Taylor serves as the Site Coordinator at Redwood Elementary, where she is responsible for staffing, training, overseeing classes and lesson plans, liaising with the principal and teachers, ordering supplies, enrolling students, managing payroll, and handling various administrative tasks.

With a professional background rooted in education, Kate has spent most of her career in this field. She began as a teacher, advanced to the role of principal, and ultimately became a regional director overseeing the operations of ten schools in California and Texas. Kate transitioned out of education when she and her husband decided to live in the area and purchased the Joshua Grindle Inn in Mendocino in 2019. After five years of managing the inn, she realized her passion for education was still strong and applied for the Site Coordinator position at Flockworks.

In her personal life, Kate enjoys reading, walking, painting, and attending live music events. What she loves most about working at Flockworks is collaborating with students and staff to ensure the afterschool program is beneficial to the community and the students who participate.

A fun fact about Kate is that she plays both the guitar and piano, and she once went skydiving with the CEO of her previous company on a dare.

Alison Feliciano

Kudos Site Coordinator
​Dana Gray Elementary

Alison serves as the Site Coordinator for Dana Gray Kudos, where she manages the day-to-day operations of the program and leads a team of twelve fantastic instructors and aides.

With over twenty-five years of experience in elementary education, Alison has spent much of her career in after-school programs. She has also worked as a librarian, a volunteer coordinator at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, and even as a full-time nanny for five toddlers at once!

Most weekends, you can find Alison working on projects at her home, which is situated on an acre alongside the Jackson Demonstration State Forest, or enjoying a book on her deck. She loves spending time with her husband, Joaquin, and their dog, Buddy. Alison is also the mother of three grown children, ages 28, 26, and 23.

The highlight of Alison's work at Kudos is interacting with the children, as they ensure that every day is a new adventure. She also appreciates the sense of community that comes with working at a school and loves seeing so many familiar faces around town.

A fun fact about Alison is that she is the seventh of nine children! She grew up living in a one-room schoolhouse in the Sutter Buttes, the world’s smallest mountain range.​

Hollie Aldridge

Hollie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Northern Arizona University and has completed master's level coursework in Special Education at Winthrop University.

With five years of experience teaching special education, she has specialized in Cross-Categorical settings, including both gifted and SDC programs.

As a School to Work Specialist with MCOE, Hollie has helped students transition into the workforce. She also has experience as a Mental Health Clinician with EHS Services.
A dedicated parent of three amazing kids, Hollie is passionate about music and art. She and her family prioritize trying new experiences together, emphasizing a strong commitment to family, which she considers to be her entire world.

Hollie has lived in a variety of unique places across the country, including the Appalachian Mountains of Southwestern Virginia, the Navajo Reservation in Many Farms, AZ, and, of course, the beautiful Mendocino County.
