Children's Banner Project engages children and youth in creative exploration that fosters team work, sharing space and an experience of "being part of something big." Led by Janet Self since 2008, the project began with a simple playground activity but grew into a community force that has involved thousands of children in special school wide projects, community events, classroom exploration and art installations. Twenty-five large scale murals, hundreds of banners, classroom projects, and community Art installations help remind us of the importance of our children and youth, and highlight the power of creative learning.
